Not sure if anyone remembers the very first version of this site, but it was super rudimentary. This site is a constant work in progress. I wrote this version with just basic jQuery, so it's pretty archaic. I've reached the point where I feel like I've hit the limits of building like this, so I'm refactoring it all in react! It's gonna be a bit of time till the next update, but I'm very excited. I have many more things I want to do, and hirocult should have a lot more features soon (an account system is the biggest one). In the meantime, please reach out to me via insta if you have any ideas for what I could add to the site while I'm building out this next version.

It took my like 2 years, but I finally restrung my bass guitar. Wow does it make a difference. I really should have done this sooner lmao. I learned the bass part to "Dig a Pony" by the Beatles. Fun stuff. Shout out to my friend Stephen for kindly giving me the bass. Hope ur doing well wherever u are.

I am very sensitive to caffeine. Sometimes I drink too much of it and I begin to vibrate into the upper-atmosphere. It makes me pace around the kitchen and lose track of my trains of thought. I love it at times.

It started snowing. It's pretty and my face gets cold easily. I like this city a lot. I have met a lot of cool people that I feel connected to. I should buy a balaclava.

I have been sick for the past week. 7 days of being in pain and discomfort. I lay in bed wondering if tomorrow I will wake without symptoms, and am disapointed each morning. I was gargling saltwater 3 times a day but gave up on that endeavor. I tried playing pickleball yesterday, but it only worsened my state. I have drank more liquid than badlands chugs could imagine. I have watched so much seinfeld. I vow never to take my health for granted again, but know I inevitably will. Wish me luck. Send prayers.

I used to play on my DS all the time. Mario kart, Animal Crossing, Pokemon. Until I booted it up with an action replay, and everyone was donkey kong in mario kart.

I went climbing again today. I felt weak, but inspired to grow strong

I used to have really bad allergies. They're ok now (fingers crossed). Grass and dust.

Lily and I saw frogs at frank's house. I like to imagine they were on vacation. 2 weeks out of the year isn't enough time to explore.

This is my first entry. I am self conscious about my writing so this is weird, but it's always good to challenge yourself.
